Janani Prakaash

Head of HR, Quantela Inc.

Janani is the Global Head of Human Resources for Quantela Inc., a technology pioneer that offers outcomes business models through the digitization of urban infrastructure. She assumed this role in September 2021. She has has more than 16 years of progressive HR leadership experience across product, services, start-up and consulting organizations. She joined Quantela from Deloitte, where she spent close to a decade serving several technology groups as their HR leader.

Throughout her career, Janani has partnered with senior leaders across geographies in defining and implementing the people strategy for their businesses and has led several efforts in areas such as mergers & acquisitions, workforce planning, succession planning, diversity & inclusion, business transformations, change management, leadership enhancement, and competency development to name a few.

Janani was featured in the elite club of Business World HR 40 under 40 list. She has been also recognized with the Topmost HR Leader Award (India) during the 30th World HRD Congress 2022. She has been recognized as Asia's 100 power leaders in Human Resources by White Page International in 2022. Janani holds a B.E in Engineering from the University of Madras and is a rank holder (gold medallist) in her post-graduation HR qualifications.

Janani is a certified yoga instructor, trained classical music vocalist, Veena player and teacher. She currently lives in Hyderabad with her husband and daughter.
