Dion’s entry into advertising came from being hired out of an internship into one of Western New York’s premier branding agencies. He’s spent 25+ years climbing the ranks of top agencies in Buffalo and Rochester, designing, creative directing, mentoring, and building teams. He now leads The Martin Group Rochester office, managing the creative product and growing the business through cultivating meaningful client relationships. With an affinity for corporate identity and branding, Dion has worked in an array of industries including food and beverage, financial services, sports, education, healthcare, professional services, and nonprofits for clients like Wegmans, Three Brothers Wineries and Estates, M&T Bank, Dick’s Sporting Goods, New Era Cap Company, Cornell University, Syracuse University, Kaleida Health, Trillium Health, Hodgson Russ, Phillips Lytle, Imagine Staffing, American Heart Association, American Lung Association and numerous United Ways across the country. Dion’s career is decorated with a multitude of creative awards including several National ADDY awards, an outdoor advertising Obie Award and the distinguished Alex Osbourne Award for Creativity. He’s also been published in dozens of international branding, design, and corporate identity books and publications including Print Magazine, HOW Magazine’s International Design Awards, The One Show, Print’s Best Logos, Graphis, and LogoLounge Books and Master Library Series.
