A job requisition is a document used to request a hire, explaining why it is needed, and to determine the budget available for the role. Hiring managers fill out a job requisition when they wish to create a new position or refill an existing, vacated position.
Steps to follow to create a Job Requisition:
- Go to Job Requisition.
- Click on New.
- The New Job requisition page will pop up.
- Fill in the defined fields and click on Submit.
Job Requisition can be added in two ways:
- Manual – Select the Manual option to fill all the details in the form manually.
- From Job Templates – In case you want to add a job requisition from existing job templates, select the Job Template option. Choose the job template from the list of available templates. On selecting a job template, all the job requisition details will be populated. You may make changes to the details. Fill the Job Requisition details form and click on Submit
- Note: Job code, Approval Workflow, Requisition Reason, and Requisition status are required to fill the form. These can be configured in the Admin Console.
