Submission
A submission is a prospective candidate being submitted to a job requirement/opening.
A pipeline is a prospective candidate that has applied (from job boards, social media, email etc.) for a job requirement/opening.
Submissions are made by a recruiter, which means that the applicant profile which is submitted has been vetted by a recruiter. A pipeline candidate has applied to the job requirement/opening from job boards/social media etc. – this candidate has to be vetted by the recruiter. Having this difference helps in identifying the platforms through which more candidates are applying and focus more on those to build a qualified talent pool.
Under submissions, we have 3 different ways to submit an applicant in CEIPAL:
Quick submit requires only the “Mandatory” fields to be filled as opposed to a submit to a job, where a comprehensive data set needs to be provided.
Tag to Job – When a recruiter finds a profile matching a job requirement/opening but still has not completed the vetting process; the recruiter then can tag the applicant to a job, essentially not submitting for further processing but rather keeping them “under review”.
