What is the difference between Applicant Status and Application Status?

Applicant Status signals the current status of the applicant with regard to their interest in new job opportunities, such as being “active,” “blacklisted,” “inactive,” etc.

On the other hand, Application Status refers to a candidate’s application to a specific job, e.g., “submitted,” “interviewed scheduled,” “placed,” “on hold,” etc.
