What is the difference between mail merge & clipboard?

Mail Merge: To share a requirement to applicants already in your database, recruiters can use the mail merge function. The system will automatically send your message to a contact group from your database.

Clipboard: A clipboard is used to copy email addresses from the internal database and share a requirement without creating a new contact group.
